Tikkie (part of ABN AMRO) is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join one of their agile scrum teams. You will work on frontend and backend services, help shape the user experience for millions of users, and contribute to strategic development projects. The role involves working with modern cloud-native technologies, microservices, and continuous delivery practices, and participating in team ceremonies and quarterly chapter events.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and collaborate with the agile team toward the sprint goal.
  • Develop new features and maintain/enhance existing frontend and backend services.
  • Explore and adopt new technologies and frameworks to keep the stack modern and efficient.
  • Optimise, refactor and improve the existing codebase to increase quality and maintainability.
  • Share knowledge within the Tikkie Full Stack Chapter and contribute to in-house conferences and learning sessions.
  • Actively participate in meetings and provide constructive feedback within the team.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with microservices architectures.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, including CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS and SQS.
  • Extensive experience or at least proficiency with: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java/Spring, NodeJS, React and AWS CDK.
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (examples: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; active participation in meetings and team feedback cycles.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and a willingness to challenge the status quo and continuously learn.
  • 5+ years of professional experience (as indicated in the vacancy summary).
