The expected salary for this position: 13000 - 28000 PLN

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience/knowledge with GCP.
- Experience building data platforms on GCP using managed services such as Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc.
- Infrastructure as Code mindset (we use Terraform).
- Deployment and provisioning automation tools, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
- Programming skills (Python & Golang preferred).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Good communication: ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions; experience elaborating complex ideas as part of design pages.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
Nice to have / Extra points
- Knowledge in secure authentication and encrypted workloads (OIDC, KMS, client/server SSL/TLS, etc.).
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- "Automate everything" mindset.
Responsibilities
- Building a platform and supporting its tenants.
- Data analytics platform components maintenance.
- Architecture development and experiments.
- Preparing cloud-ready and IaC-based solutions.
- Managing monitoring and alerting for the platform.
- Helping users with on-call support.
About the squad / Role
As a GCP Platform Engineer, you will help develop the data-driven products that the Data & Analytics organization builds. Within the organization, agile, lean and design thinking methodologies are used to launch new initiatives within or outside of ING. ING is building its Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud to help the company become more data-driven. This is a joined effort between ING units; you will be part of a distributed, multinational and multicultural team. The role balances working with the latest technologies for large-scale data, laying architectural foundations, and hands-on implementation. The global ING job architecture role name for this position will be "Engineer IV."
