Are you the innovator of data management, systems and processes? Can you translate user wishes into data models and actions for your IT colleagues allowing us to provide excellent management information? Do you have previous experience with data modelling and data analysis? Then you are the person we are looking for in the Controlling Domain. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Finance and IT professionals working together to achieve the Controlling objectives using an Agile way of working.
Responsibilities
- Create and technically analyse Finance data, specifically management information.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and data models that enable development by IT colleagues.
- Design data models and produce clear technical specifications for developers.
- Constantly test developed solutions against pre-defined requirements.
- Innovate, advise, improve, analyse and implement solutions related to data management.
- Take end-to-end responsibility (together with Business Control, Financial Control and the Grid) for delivery of Controlling requests, switching between diverse areas of expertise as needed.
- Analyse impact of changes elsewhere in the Finance chain on Controlling and provide input to achieve domain goals.
Requirements
- At least an HBO working and thinking level.
- At least 5 years of work experience in data management, data modelling, business analysis, change management or BI, preferably within finance.
- Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into a technical design, explain it to IT developers and create SMART user stories.
- IT experience in data modelling (SQL) and understanding of database architecture and management, design best practices and enterprise-level data architecture.
- Experience with data modelling tools and techniques (e.g. ERwin).
- Strong communicator able to simplify complexity for diverse audiences and thrive in agile, collaborative environments; enjoyment of continuous learning.
- Comfortable performing impact analyses, modelling technical solutions and delivering clear product requirements and documentation.
- Ability to prioritise in a demanding controlling environment and facilitate stakeholder discussions to surface real needs.
Working environment
- You will work in one of the four agile scrum teams in the Grid Controlling Domain alongside Finance and IT professionals.
- Role explicitly described as a Senior Business Analyst within the domain; responsibilities cover strategic, tactical and operational scopes.
- Standardization, rationalization and innovation of management information processes and systems are key topics alongside recurring monthly processes.
Benefits
- Gross monthly salary (based on a 36-hour work week): min. EUR 5,304 β max. EUR 7,577 (includes vacation pay and benefit budget). A 40-hour work week is also possible; salary depends on knowledge, experience and potential.
- Benefit Budget: 11% of your salary (can be used in the Benefit Shop; unused amounts are paid out monthly as one twelfth of the Benefit Budget).
