BUUT is a neobank launching by ABN AMRO with a focus on the new generation. It is created by the makers of Tikkie and designed to be simple to use, interactive, and visually driven. BUUT offers standard banking features but with a modern twist, tailored for teens and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to daily scrum meetings and key events by asking insightful questions, sharing knowledge, and keeping team discussions focused during planning, refinements, retrospectives, and demos.
• Take ownership of user stories by developing sustainable, high-quality features that improve user experience and ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm, prototype, and implement innovative app features.
• Drive release excellence by testing functionality, optimizing performance, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Adapt to evolving project requirements, user feedback, and market demands.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly and take ownership in a trusted environment.
• Pragmatic problem solver with initiative, thrives in flat organizations, valued for ideas over years of experience.
• Strong belief in great UI and UX; good collaboration with designers.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a fintech startup or scale-up environment.
• Experience in finance or banking is a strong plus.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency with Swift, ensuring code reliability and testability.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns with practical application.
• Expertise in app architecture.
• Passion for automation; familiar with Fastlane and CI/CD pipelines.
