Are you a talented iOS Developer with a passion for transforming user stories into a breathtaking user experience? Do you have a passion for clean code and well-structured architecture, thriving in a team-oriented environment? We’re looking for an iOS Developer to join BUUT, the new neobank launched by ABN AMRO that brings a Tikkie-style experience tailored for the new generation.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in daily scrum meetings and key agile events (planning, refinements, retrospectives, demos).
• Take ownership of user stories by developing sustainable, high-quality features that improve user experience and ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm, prototype and implement innovative app features.
• Deliver high-quality releases through rigorous testing, performance optimisation, and strong release practices.
• Respond agilely to evolving requirements, user feedback and market demands to continuously improve the product.
• Work in 2-week sprints as part of a development team using cutting-edge mobile technologies.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Pragmatic problem solver with initiative; comfortable in a flat organisation and collaborative culture.
• Strong belief in great UI and UX and close collaboration with designers.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years professional software development experience (experience in a start- or scale-up environment is preferred).
• Experience in finance or banking is a big plus.

Technical requirements:

• Proficiency with Swift, with emphasis on reliable, testable code.
• Understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and common design patterns.
• Expertise in app architecture and designing maintainable mobile applications.
• Passion for automation in workflow: experience with Fastlane and CI/CD pipelines.
• Focus on testability and delivering performant mobile experiences.

Office & Working Model

• Hybrid working with a vibrant office in central Amsterdam shared with other ABN AMRO fintech teams (New10, Tikkie, BUX).
• Team works in 2-week sprints and embraces collaboration in-office and remotely.

• Monthly salary range: €4.466 - €6.380 (gross per month).
• Supplementary benefit budget of 11% (paid monthly or convertible into fringe benefits such as mobile phone, bike, wearables, or extra time off).
