The expected salary for this position: 9600 - 18 000 PLN gross

This role is part of the Financial Markets & Group Treasury Investing IT area of ING. The team is responsible for development and maintenance of systems used in Financial Markets and Global Treasury, dedicated to Security Financing and Equities business. The squad works with the ION trading platform API and the Anvil Platform. Work is performed in an Agile framework (2-week sprints). Please send your CV in English.
Responsibilities
- Incidents, tickets, and requests management — solving & dispatching
- Daily operation (mailbox monitoring) and applications monitoring
- Tasks automation and process improvements
- Monitoring and reporting database performance
- Participating in Scrum events (meetings)
- Implementation, improvement and management of the release pipeline including automated testing (functional and non-functional)
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a Support Engineer / DevOps, preferably in Financial Markets
- Understanding of Financial Markets (examples: Repo / SecLending, Bonds / Equities, Settlements / Risk systems, Regulatory Reporting)
- Experience operating, monitoring, and supporting applications
- Basic knowledge of Linux / UNIX
- Basic knowledge of Oracle DB (or other SQL databases)
- Experience with automation of manual activities (e.g., testing, deployment)
- Continuous improvement mindset and team-player attitude with very good communication skills
- English language level: B2 or higher
Extra points for:
- Good knowledge of Linux / UNIX (including script programming)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD
- Basic programming skills in any programming language (e.g., Java, Python)
- Basic knowledge and experience in Agile (e.g., Scrum methodology)
- Analytical approach to problem solving
Squad / Additional Information
- The team will contribute to design and development of a platform using the ION trading platform API and will actively participate in support and change of the Anvil Platform.
- Role naming convention in the global ING job architecture: "Engineer III".
