The role of the Process & Project Enabler / IT Asset & Configuration Manager is within the Center of Excellence (CoE) IT Control & Service Management which is part of our (IT) 1Global organization. As IT Asset & Configuration Manager, you are the point of contact within IT C&SM for everything related to insight into IT resources and services. You are passionate, driven and know how to connect with the organization.

You manage the CMDB within our ITSM solution (ServiceNow). In doing so, you ensure that changes to the system and its content are controlled and structured. You work together with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external. You do this also in close collaboration with IT colleagues in the other regions we are located in (AP and US).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hardware assets (personal computers, printers, routers, servers, ...), software assets (applications, databases, web sites, cloud environments, ...) and financial assets (contracts, software licenses, ...) in the organization.
  • Ensure proper registration of all hardware, software and financial assets in the CMDB and further enhance it.
  • Create and implement strategies for effective IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems.
  • Develop and enforce ITAM policies and best practices.
  • Responsible for both operational ITAM work and the process part (improving asset management processes and documenting them).
  • Assist in the setup of Clearing's CSDM (Common Services Data Model).
  • Integrate ITAM with other ITIL processes.
  • Act as the backup for the IT Change Manager.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and individuals across the globe on various initiatives, projects and tasks.

Working environment

You are a member of the Center of Excellence (CoE) team IT Control & Service Management, part of the 1Global organization. The 1Global organization includes Product GRID (software development, maintenance, DevOps), Platform GRID (on-prem and cloud infrastructure) and three CoEs (IT Control & Service Management, IT Architecture and IT Security). Most work in 1Global is done in an Agile way.

The CoE IT Control & Service Management consists of three streams: IT Control (risk management framework, audits), IT Service Management (ITIL processes, performance management, monitoring & audit, service agreements) and Supplier Management (third-party contract management). Your role is in the IT Service Management stream working closely with PO's, IT Engineers, Platform Engineers, Business Developers, other CoEs and regions (AP and US).

Global collaboration and communication are key and can occasionally require work outside EU business hours.

Requirements

Must have:

  • 7+ years of working experience in an IT Service Management environment.
  • 3+ years of IT Asset Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent degree/experience.
  • ITIL v3/4 Practitioner certification.
  • CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager) or CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) or equivalent certification.

Nice to have (partially):

  • CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional).
  • Experience with ITIL Change Management preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated and/or financial and/or IT industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence) and/or ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with IT best practices, particularly in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of information management and of IT systems, processes, and regulations.
