ABN AMRO Clearing is a global clearing firm providing integrated financial services including execution, clearing, financing, stock borrowing and lending, settlement, and custody across multiple exchanges worldwide. The role of IT Asset & Configuration Manager is within the Center of Excellence (CoE) IT Control & Service Management, part of the 1Global IT organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CMDB within the ITSM solution (ServiceNow), ensuring controlled and structured changes.
- Oversee all hardware (PCs, printers, servers, routers), software (applications, databases, cloud environments), and financial assets (contracts, licenses).
- Maintain and enhance proper registration of all assets in CMDB.
- Create and implement strategies for effective IT Asset Management (ITAM).
- Develop and enforce ITAM policies and best practices.
- Handle operational ITAM work and improve asset management processes and documentation.
- Assist in setting up Clearing's Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
- Integrate ITAM with other ITIL processes.
- Act as backup for the Change Management manager.
- Collaborate globally with IT teams and stakeholders across APAC, US, and EU.
Working Environment
- Part of the IT Control & Service Management CoE within 1Global, working agile with product and platform teams.
- The team manages ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, and Asset Management.
- Collaboration with IT colleagues worldwide including other CoEs and regions.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years experience in IT Service Management environment.
- At least 3 years of IT Asset Management experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- ITIL v3/4 Practitioner certification.
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), or equivalent.
- Preferred: CHAMP certification, experience with ITIL Change Management, experience in regulated/financial/IT industry.
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), ServiceNow, IT best practices in financial services.
- Strong communication skills, leadership, attention to detail, and global collaboration ability.
