ABN AMRO Clearing is a global clearing firm providing integrated financial services to professional trading participants across global markets. The role of IT Continuity Manager sits within the Center of Excellence (CoE) IT Control & Service Management under the 1Global IT organization.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) process including templates for Disaster Recovery Plans, Service Continuity Plans, and test reports.
- Ensure Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity Plans are created, tested, and evaluated by responsible 1Global blocks to support IT system recovery and overall Business Continuity Plans.
- Monitor and report testing outcomes and maintain IT Service Continuity documentation.
- Collaborate with Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Platform & Product GRID blocks/Product Owners, and other ITIL managers.
- Produce periodic reports on IT Disaster Recovery/failover health, identifying issues and remediation.
- Direct and train 1Global blocks on IT Service Continuity Management.
- Initiate design and development of IT Service Continuity Management dashboard.
- Work globally with IT teams and stakeholders across multiple regions including AP and US.
Working environment
- Member of CoE IT Control & Service Management in the global 1Global organization consisting of Product GRID (software development and DevOps), Platform GRID (infrastructure), and CoEs for IT Control, IT Architecture, and IT Security.
- Agile work style with prioritization via Quarterly Business Review.
- Responsible for ITIL process management including Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, and IT Continuity Management.
- Works closely with IT Service Management colleagues, Product Owners, IT Engineers, and Business Developers globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in IT Service Management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT Service Continuity Management.
- Required certifications: ITIL v3/4 Practitioner, BCM Essentials ICT Professionals (or similar), Certified ITSCM Professional (or similar).
- Experience in regulated, financial, or IT industries preferred.
- Hands-on experience leading IT Disaster Recovery Test Simulations/Teams.
- Strong global collaboration and communication skills, including outside EU business hours.
- Familiarity with IT best practices, especially in financial services.
- Knowledge of information management, IT systems, processes, and regulations.
- Proactive leadership attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and/or ServiceNow a plus.
