ABN AMRO Clearing is a global clearing firm providing execution, clearing, financing, stock borrowing and lending, settlement and custody services. The Process & Project Enabler / IT Continuity Manager role sits within the Center of Excellence (CoE) IT Control & Service Management, part of the 1Global IT organisation. As IT Continuity Manager you are the point of contact within IT C&SM for the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) process. You manage risks that could seriously impact IT services, ensure minimum agreed Service Levels can be met, and plan recovery of IT services to support Business Continuity Management. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT colleagues in AP and the US.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) process, including templates for Disaster Recovery Plans, Service Continuity Plans and test reports.
- Ensure Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity Plans are created, tested and evaluated by responsible 1Global blocks, and that they support the overall Business Continuity Plans of the AACB organisation.
- Ensure 1Global blocks report on testing outcomes and that IT Service Continuity documentation is regularly reviewed and maintained.
- Liaise with Architects, Service Delivery Managers, Platform & Product GRID blocks and Product Owners about IT Service Continuity.
- Work closely with other ITIL managers (Incident, Problem managers) and produce periodic reports monitoring the health of IT disaster recovery / failover services, identifying issues and remediation activities.
- Provide direction and training to 1Global blocks on ITSCM topics; initiate design and development of an ITSCM dashboard and monitor consumability of ITSCM in 1Global.
- Collaborate with IT teams across the globe on initiatives, projects and tasks; lead IT Disaster Recovery test simulations/teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7 to 10 years working experience in an IT Service Management environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Service Continuity Management experience.
- Required certifications:
- ITIL v3/4 Practitioner
- BCM Essentials ICT Professionals (BCMICT) or similar
- Certified ITSCM Professional (CITSMP) or similar
- Experience in regulated, financial and/or IT industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience leading IT Disaster Recovery test simulations/teams is essential.
Key competencies:
- Global collaboration and communication (occasionally outside EU business hours).
- Familiarity with IT best practices, particularly in financial services.
- Knowledge of information management, IT systems, processes and regulations.
- Proactive, decisive, strong documentation and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication; ability to communicate with all organizational levels, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) and/or ServiceNow is a plus.
Working environment
- Member of the CoE IT Control & Service Management within the 1Global organisation (Product GRID, Platform GRID and CoEs for IT Control & Service Management, IT Architecture and IT Security).
- Most work in the 1Global organisation is performed in an Agile way. You will work closely with IT SM colleagues, product owners, IT engineers and business developers across regions (including AP and US).

- A gross monthly salary between € 5,681 and € 8,115 based on a 40-hour working week (a 36-hour working week is also possible), depending on experience.
