The role involves leading the Wholesale Banking Centre of Expertise Identity & Access Management (WB CoE IAM) Expert team at ING Hubs Slovakia. Combining both individual contributor (30%) and people manager (70%) roles in an agile environment, the Expert Lead facilitates, supports, and motivates the team to achieve goals, acting as a servant leader. This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, setting strategies, and growing the service portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and streamline IAM processes and workflows
- Design and propose IAM tool improvements through Product Owners
- Define Identity & Access standards, procedures, and processes aligned with global policies (PCS, ITSS)
- Serve as liaison to ING IAM departments ensuring WB requirements are met
- Share IAM expertise and represent strategies to stakeholders
- Support audits and improve audit readiness
- Develop and deliver training sessions on IAM standards and procedures
- Coach the team toward self-organization and continuous improvement
- Manage full HR cycle for the team including staffing, planning, and performance reviews
- Drive team engagement and organizational goal alignment
- Sponsor innovation and improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance and manage risk effectively
- Keep procedures and work instructions updated
- Understand financial metrics and manage costs
Expert Team Description
- Ensure proper control within WB IAM environment through governance, standardization, and automation of IAM processes following PCS and ITSS standards
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, preferably in leadership/senior specialist roles
- Strong understanding of IAM tools, governance frameworks (PCS IAM, ITSS IAM)
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with Agile and continuous improvement methods
- Fluency in English; additional languages beneficial
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar)

Salary
The indicated minimum gross wage is 4,267 EUR/month. Final salary depends on experience and will be negotiated during interview.
