Responsibilities
- Dive into modern backend development: from building microservices to improving existing systems.
- Work together with your team on backend features for the Funda platform (for example: APIs that pull property data or couplings with mortgage information).
- Execute small improvements in existing services and learn how microservices work together.
- Write unit tests and improve your code based on feedback from colleagues.
- Analyse performance of features and propose solutions to make them quicker and more stable.
- Participate in technical design choices and learn how scalable systems are built.
- Learn and work with tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements
- Completed a science degree (Bachelor/Master level) and some practical experience in development — through work, an internship, or personal projects.
- Some experience with .NET and the desire to develop further.
- Inquisitive, eager to learn and comfortable asking questions and receiving/giving feedback.
- Desire to gain experience in an agile work environment and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams (product manager, UX designer, frontend and backend engineers).
- Currently living in the Netherlands and fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.

- Salary between €3,737.82 - €4,683.76 per month (based on a 40 hours per week contract).
