Join our vibrant Software Engineering team at Collibra, where you'll lead a diverse and dedicated group of 5 to 7 highly engaged software engineers, contributing directly to the core of the Collibra Solution.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5 to 7 software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions following agile best practices.
- Collaborate with your Product Management counterpart to align engineering efforts with business goals and customer needs.
- Support your team members in growing their technical skills and developing their careers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical designs to ensure scalability and performance.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to build a sense of ownership among team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or a related technical role.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or people management position within an engineering team.
- Proficient in utilizing advanced software development tools and version control systems, such as GitHub and JIRA.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with distributed and diverse teams.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
- Must have work authorization to work in Prague, Czech Republic.
- Agile expertise and strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
- Involvement with open source community and experience with DBT, Coalesce is a plus.
- Ability to represent data engineers and serve as a product expert for observability capabilities.
