Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of a mobile app without supervision.
  • Design and document detailed manual test cases.
  • Help troubleshoot issues reported by the support team.
  • Report and analyze defects and suggest recommendations on how to improve product quality to avoid similar cases.
  • Participate in the whole quality assurance process (requirement refinement, test case preparation, manual testing, release monitoring).
  • Work closely with developers, QAs, and Product Owners within the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a QA position.
  • At least 1+ year of mobile app testing experience.
  • Knowledge of HTTP proxy tools (Charles / http toolkit).
  • Experience in software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in test case design and management.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation principles.
  • Knowledge of best Agile practices.
  • Fluency in the English language.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with Android.
  • Experience with automation frameworks and any programming language or a keen interest in building automation skills.
  • Experience testing various different products.
  • Knowledge of computer networking technologies.
