As a Medior Backend Engineer at Funda you're not ‘just’ writing code — you’re writing quality code on a platform that gets viewed 62 million times per month by people making major decisions about buying or renting a home. You will participate in improving that journey for users and have real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality code and ship features that affect millions of users
  • Develop, own and ship your team's microservices directly to production
  • Use Azure DevOps for deployment and CI/CD
  • Work closely with the full Scrum team (Product Owner, UX Designer, Frontend and Backend engineers) to solve problems
  • Investigate and fix production issues in your own code

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microservices
  • Hands-on experience with .NET Core (Dotnet core 8)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience using Azure DevOps and continuous delivery practices
  • Comfortable working in an agile / Scrum environment
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • You have enough relevant work experience to call yourself an intermediate-level (medior) Backend Engineer
  • You are currently living in the Netherlands

The team

You will be part of a multidisciplinary Scrum team (Product Owner, UX Designer, Frontend and Backend Engineers) and will be responsible for features from start to finish.
