Are you a skilled Mendix developer with at least 2 years of experience and a solid foundation in business knowledge? Do you want to use your expertise to build impactful IT products that help the bank manage critical risks such as Fraud, Corruption, and Cybercrime? Our Rapid team is looking for a passionate Mendix Engineer to join our dynamic scrum team and make a real difference.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop swift, high-impact Mendix solutions that support stakeholders in critical risk management work.
  • Monitor and maintain Mendix solutions to ensure seamless operation and high availability.
  • Manage and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure to enable efficient, scalable, and secure deployments (CI/CD).
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and the scrum team to define technical direction and envision future solutions.
  • Share knowledge across the team and follow trends and developments to keep solutions up to date.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Mendix Studio Pro (building apps, microflows, domain models, pages, and security implementation).
  • Strong understanding of Mendix architecture (multi-tenant, cloud-native, low-code principles).
  • Experience with version control, automated testing, and monitoring in Mendix.
  • Sufficient knowledge of REST APIs and CSS/JavaScript for integration and customization.
  • Knowledge of the Azure platform and Azure DevOps pipelines for Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Understanding of Agile software development and a DevOps mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude; fluent in English.
  • Proactive, structured, persistent approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn and develop.

Working environment

  • You will be part of the Non-Financial Risk grid, working with a diverse and collaborative team.
  • Flexible hybrid working: two days per week in the office (standard) and a monthly grid-level collaboration day.
