Responsibilities

  • Prepare, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Oracle releases.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve scripts.
  • Deploy new Oracle Homes.
  • Manage Oracle database upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
  • Identify and resolve system anomalies and resource bottlenecks in Oracle environments.
  • Optimize database performance through operational enhancements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot incidents, minimizing downtime.
  • Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation activities.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings about projects, issues, and ideas.
  • Document solutions, processes, and best practices.
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining technical standards and guidance for the team.

Requirements

  • Experience with Oracle RDBMS including RAC and DataGuard.
  • Managing multi-tenant Oracle environments.
  • Managing Oracle databases (CDB, PDB) and Exadata components.
  • Database optimization, schema refinement, indexing, query tuning.
  • Designing and working with data models like star schema, snowflake schema, data normalization.
  • Implementing high availability and fault tolerance configurations.
  • Proficiency with database monitoring tools.
  • Implementing disaster recovery or switchover mechanisms.
  • Scripting experience with Ansible or Bash.
  • Building and running CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in agile environments and Agile-Scrum methodology.
  • SQL fluency for query tuning.
  • Basic understanding of risk management and compliance standards.
  • Proactive mindset for process improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Strong dedication to servicing consumers and avoiding technical debt.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
