Role overview
We are looking for experienced engineers to join a newly built PEGA engineering team (role naming convention: "Engineer III" in the global ING job architecture). You will maintain and enhance business applications built on the Pega platform and participate in the full application lifecycle within a DevOps model. You will collaborate with an international, cross-functional team and learn the Way of Working from experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance business applications built on the Pega platform.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle within a DevOps model — from development to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business needs.
Requirements
- PEGA certified or several years' experience using PEGA.
- Analytical skills and interest in understanding how systems work under the hood.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
You’ll get extra points for:
- Experience working in a complex, regulated environment such as a large financial institution.
- Experience as a lead engineer.
- Being a team player.
