Details

As Domain Expert – Pentester Mobile you will perform security tests on ABN AMRO’s mobile applications (iOS/Android) and their corresponding infrastructure. Your knowledge and experience will contribute to improving the overall security posture of the bank by helping development teams to bring security by design in their day-to-day work and by raising security awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Execute penetration tests on ABN AMRO assets with a focus on iOS and/or Android applications.
  • Identify security vulnerabilities, report findings, and advise development teams on appropriate mitigations.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in mobile technology and threat landscape and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Help solve security-related questions, take initiative, and escalate when needed.
  • Signal process improvements and contribute to improving the maturity and coverage of the service offering.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated working experience in iOS and/or Android development.
  • Demonstrated experience with mobile programming languages such as Swift or Kotlin.
  • Recent knowledge about relevant software frameworks and design patterns for mobile platforms.
  • Possession of one or more relevant certifications (examples given: OSCP, OSCE, eMAPT, GMOB).
  • Recent experience with tools such as BurpSuite, Frida, Objection (and similar mobile security tooling).
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience (listed on the vacancy).

Working environment

  • You will join the internal Security Assurance team within the Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) at ABN AMRO in the Netherlands.
  • The team has diverse expertise in penetration testing, red teaming, and mobile security and works in an agile, collaborative environment.
