Platform Manager, Provisioning & Access Management

Airbnb builds and scales technology to empower global support agents and employees. The Platform Manager for Provisioning & Access Management will lead strategy, roadmap, and execution for Airbnb's Provisioning Platform to ensure seamless and secure access to tools and systems for a distributed workforce. You'll partner with engineering, product, operations, and security teams to deliver scalable, self-service capabilities and intelligent guardrails that prevent abuse and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Champion the needs of support agents and Global Operations while aligning with Airbnb's core goals.
• Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy for provisioning and access management platform features.
• Modernize provisioning and access technology to improve scalability, enable self-service, and implement security and compliance guardrails.
• Collaborate closely with engineering: participate in backlog grooming, clarify requirements, refine user stories, and support sprint execution.
• Run multi-stakeholder initiatives, conduct build vs. buy evaluations, and meet with potential technology vendors.
• Shadow users (support agents) to gather firsthand feedback and identify tooling improvements.
• Analyze data to measure tool impact, identify usage patterns, and surface optimization opportunities.
• Review and adjust the product roadmap, communicate updates to leadership, and prioritize work with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on Customer Service, Operations, Provisioning, or Access Management technology.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable platform capabilities that meet diverse business needs.
• Highly collaborative and effective in cross-functional organizations; experience working with engineering, product, operations, and security teams.
• Demonstrated expertise executing multi-stakeholder initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on individual contributor product management skills; attention to detail in day-to-day product work.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Passion for Airbnb's mission and values.

Location & Work Model

• This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager. Candidates must live in a U.S. state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded).

Benefits & Compensation

• Base pay range: $177,000 — $208,000 USD (actual base pay depends on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions).
• Role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
