The puzzles on the Typescript Platform Engineer's plate include making 200 local editors faster by optimising Typescript to perfection, but also creating new generators that update 100 apps at once, saving over thousands of minutes in cloud costs or making new capabilities available through libraries, such as data streaming, for example. And because technology does not stand still (and neither do we, for that matter), there is always a new puzzle to solve. We have a strong bond with our community of engineers we support, which is part of the puzzle and you will play an important role in it. Responsibilities

• Optimise Typescript performance for 200 local editors
• Create new generators that update 100 apps simultaneously
• Develop new capabilities through libraries (e.g., data streaming)
• Proactively contribute to roadmapping, solutioning, migrations, designing and implementing new features
• Initiate and drive improvements to support the community of backend engineers
• Work in an Agile team with DevOps responsibility

Requirements

• Expertise in Typescript and NodeJS of at least 5 years
• Experience developing developer tooling such as scripts, task executors or generating code
• Experience with monorepos and tools such as NX, Turborepo or Rush
• Comfortable with cloud-native working
• Proactive in working with engineering community and providing one-to-one support
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab pipelines, Github actions, or similar) is a plus
