Do you want to deliver a more secure service to our clients and employees? Do you see Identity and Access not only as a security measure but also as an enabler for our client, employee, and developer journeys? Do you like to ensure a secure, compliant, and user-friendly Authentication capability to our consumers, as a senior Product Owner who leads more than just the product? Then we're looking for you! You will be end-to-end responsible for ensuring we offer a safe Authentication capability that is consumed according to the standards and guidelines we set, and you will be able to monitor this and steer the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Authentication capability end-to-end within ABN AMRO CISO’s Identity and Access Grid.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic vision and roadmap for the Authentication capability and translate it into actionable deliverables.
  • Drive improvements in ways of working across the I&A grid and advance capability compliance and coverage.
  • Steer the organization to provide secure and easy-to-use services that comply with standards and reduce cyber risk.
  • Monitor capability adoption and compliance, and use metrics to steer stakeholders and teams.
  • Act as a functional leader and subject-matter authority on Authentication and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Collaborate with Workforce IT delivery to ensure technical robustness and with functional teams to ensure requirements are met.

Requirements

Must have (hard skills):

  • 8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management and working in complex IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of Authentication methods and technologies (for example: MFA, SSO, FIDO, step-up, risk-based authentication).
  • 3+ years of experience in functional leadership roles (demonstrating authority without formal hierarchical power).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Owner with proven strategic leadership in an agile environment.
  • Experience and good understanding of relevant directives and legislation such as DORA and the AI Act.

Must have (soft skills):

  • Vision and strategic planning skills with the ability to translate vision into an actionable roadmap.
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Pro-active attitude with excellent communication skills.

Nice to haves:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISA and CISSP.
  • Good security knowledge of main IT layers: operating systems, network infrastructure, and database management systems.
  • Experience creating policy standards and guidelines for IAM.
  • Knowledge of banking products and processes.
  • Experience with IT audit and reducing Cyber Risk.

Working environment

You will serve as the Capability Owner for the Authentication Capability within ABN AMRO CISO’s Identity and Access Grid and be a member of the Workforce Enablement & Control team. The team focuses on functional aspects of Identity & Access and collaborates with Workforce IT delivery for technical implementation. The office in Amstelveen is your home office and the role supports a flexible, hybrid way of working aligned with the team.
