ABN AMRO's Generic Signing team is seeking an experienced QA Tester. The team is responsible for the digital signing of payments and documents, a critical component of the banking experience. The role focuses on test automation, Agile methodologies, and ensuring systems remain reliable and secure.
Responsibilities
- Work in a DevOps block to test and maintain high-quality code and future-proof IT solutions.
- Educate yourself on relevant technical capabilities and latest innovations.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing via communities and events; disseminate knowledge across teams.
- Push the limits of technology and focus on holistic solutions.
- Ensure application code is safe, secure and functioning correctly; be open to feedback and peer reviews.
- Find solutions to new challenges and work closely with developers to resolve defects.

Working environment
You will be part of CISO Identity & Access, an open and informal culture that encourages collaboration and innovation. The office in Amstelveen is your home office; the team follows a hybrid model expecting two days in the office and flexibility for the remaining days.
Requirements
Must haves:
- At least 5+ years designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for Java-based applications (API layers).
- At least 5+ years experience with Postman, JMeter, JUnit, and REST-assured for test automation and validation.
- At least 5+ years experience validating correctness, performance, and security of digital signature workflows, including certificate handling and cryptographic validation.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with fully automated testing.
- Experience with TLSMA configuration and good knowledge of Azure-based applications.
- Experience tracking and documenting defects using tools like Azure DevOps and actively engaging with developers for resolution.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with application analysis using App dynamics, Splunk and Azure Appinsight.
- Experience performing backend validation using SQL for database consistency and transaction accuracy.
- Experience with security testing to validate encryption, secure transmission, and tamper-proofing of signed documents.
- Work experience in payment processing and digital document signing.
