Tikkie (an ABN AMRO product) is the leading free finance app in the Netherlands. The Tikkie team builds and maintains scalable, high-quality mobile products for Android and iOS. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, security and reliability of Tikkie's mobile applications through a combination of automated and exploratory testing in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance by developing comprehensive test strategies and executing detailed test plans for Android and iOS apps, ensuring security compliance and data protection.
- Drive continuous improvement by participating in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning sessions and retrospectives, and fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and execute functional, non-functional and regression testing to ensure app performance and reliability across platforms.
- Perform exploratory testing and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards of code and product quality.
- Demonstrate technical leadership by challenging approaches, staying up to date with emerging technologies, and proactively identifying and resolving potential production issues.
Requirements
General

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a fintech environment.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both Android and iOS.
- Proficient with native mobile automation tools such as Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS).
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (examples given: GitHub Actions) and familiarity with AWS in CI/CD contexts.
- Experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright.
- Experience with REST API testing tools such as Postman (or similar).
- Proficient in at least two programming languages relevant to mobile and automation (examples: Kotlin, Swift, Java, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, including exploratory and regression testing.
- Awareness of security and data protection considerations for banking applications.
