Details

As a modelling and risk expert, you will be responsible for data quality, process optimization, modelling, validation, implementation and testing of the risk systems. You present our risk models in the risk committees and to our regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain risk models and data frameworks.
  • Coach and provide business input to team members.
  • Lead and improve risk models based on various datasets and business challenges.
  • Deliver important project goals working with junior and experienced colleagues.
  • Collaborate with IT and risk teams in an agile environment to organize, develop, and implement IT solutions.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of demonstrable experience in risk model development and/or validation.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics or mathematics.
  • Deep understanding of financial risk models, data, products, and markets.
  • Structured and accurate working style.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex risk concepts clearly.
  • Proactive problem-solving and solution proposing attitude.
  • Collaborative with a strong ability to build relationships across departments and regions.
  • Motivational and coaching skills for team members.
  • Initiative-taking to find optimal stakeholder solutions.
  • Proven programming experience in Python.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience with C++, Tableau, and/or Dataiku is a plus.
  • Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plus.
