Why choose Eneco?
We work hard at Eneco on our mission 'sustainable energy for everyone' and on achieving our climate ambitions. Our One Planet plan includes measurable targets on climate, biodiversity, circularity, and society (more info at eneco.nl/over-ons).
Within Vertical Trade Ops & IT, operating alongside other Eneco Value Chains in International Energy Trading, we aim to be a leading player in the North European energy market. Our focus is on delivering flexibility and grid stabilization by using sustainable energy sources.
The Trade Enablement team plays a crucial role by continuously adapting our technical landscape to rapidly changing energy market requirements to remain competitive, while closely collaborating with Tech & IT.
The Release Train Engineer plays an important role in making our system future-proof and ready to connect as many sustainable energy sources as possible — both today and in the coming years.

- Optimizing the change delivery process according to agile principles (SAFe/Kanban) and focusing on value
- Maintaining balance between new development and maintenance, including lifecycle management and process improvement
- Making sure integrations (like new batteries), market rule preparations, or workflow automations happen smoothly, carefully, and with attention to people and systems involved.
