The expected salary for this position: 13 000 - 24 000 PLN

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services for the Gaia web application.
  • Design APIs and microservices using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and DevOps practices.
  • Contribute to service design, strategy, and availability.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and object-oriented design.
  • Understanding of relational databases (MS-SQL is a plus).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Comfortable working in agile teams and DevOps environments.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies like React or WebComponents.

Extra (nice to have)

  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.
  • Familiarity with frontend testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Vitest).
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks and willingness to collaborate on UI integration.
  • Experience with containerization and DTAP environments.
