Details

We are seeking an experienced Engineering AI/ML Business Systems Architect to join the BSA Team within IT. You will work closely with internal Business Systems Architects, business and IT teams on Engineering & Manufacturing projects, translating business requirements into system solutions and helping define technology strategy and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users to transform business requirements into system-based solutions focused on Enterprise Engineering platforms.
  • Identify challenges, opportunities, and gaps in business processes and help build technology strategy and roadmaps to address them.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI and ML algorithm pipelines and workflows for Manufacturing systems.
  • Analyze, improve, and maintain client-server architecture, SaaS solutions, and related system architectures.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, operations, and business teams across multifunctional projects from requirements definition and testing to project planning and implementation.
  • Work cross-departmentally and globally to collect requirements, build project plans, obtain approvals, and deliver engineering solutions using strong communication and partnership techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, new technologies, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven 8+ years of experience building and improving enterprise-class systems through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering AI/ML frameworks.
  • Experience with technologies used to analyze and drive insights from data: MS SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, Azure, AWS.
  • Experience with Agile software development and tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with client-server architecture and SaaS solutions.
  • Strong logical problem-solving, project management, communication, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and lead/influence teams.
  • Experience implementing continuous capability improvements.

Ways to stand out (nice to have)

  • Background in the semiconductor / high-tech industry.
  • Experience with web technologies and architecture: HTML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS, XML.
  • Knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing applications, Lean Six Sigma, and 5 Whys methodologies.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base salary ranges by level: Level 4: $140,000 - $224,250 USD; Level 5: $168,000 - $264,500 USD.
  • Eligibility for equity and company benefits.
