Responsibilities
- Design and develop tailor-made IT solutions with a focus on microservices and private cloud architectures in a Java EE environment.
- Support the whole development process: from analysis and technical concepts to the design of modern, distributed IT architectures, to implementation, testing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with governance and security guidelines.
- Be deeply involved in the build process, carry out all relevant activities, and ensure code translates seamlessly into finished products.
- Actively work on quality assurance measures and develop automated tests, including functional, integration, and regression tests.
- Analyze and fix incidents and problems; communicate continuously with IT and business colleagues and external stakeholders to clarify uncertainties and bring projects to successful conclusion.
Requirements
- Degree in STEM, economics, or a similar qualification.
- Excellent working knowledge of common Java APIs, frameworks like Spring (Boot), Hibernate, and asynchronous/synchronous protocols (HTTP/Rest, Kafka).
- Experience with build tools, CI/CD processes in Azure, and version control systems.
- Practical know-how in test automation (implementation/operation) and agile software development (Scrum) with current technologies.
- Structured, goal- and solution-oriented work style with high willingness to learn.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to look outside the box and develop sustainable solutions.
- Good written and spoken German and English.
