Role Description

You will be part of an agile team driving innovative data-driven projects from automated credit decisions in instant lending to fraud detection modeling solutions. Your work will involve preparing data from original sources for upload into a Data Analytics Platform, developing high-performance machine learning models, designing deployment architectures, and implementing MLOps components to bring models into production.

Responsibilities

  • Actively shape data-driven products across various projects.
  • Select and extract necessary data from source systems.
  • Prepare data for the Data Analytics Platform.
  • Develop high-performance machine learning models for large and complex datasets.
  • Design and ensure technical feasibility of deployment architectures.
  • Implement the production deployment of ML models including pipelines and MLOps.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in (business) computer science or equivalent (e.g., specialist computer science).
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in the financial sector.
  • Very good knowledge of Oracle SQL and Python.
  • Proficiency in data warehouse (DWH) architectures and technologies.
  • Experience with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and ML model deployment.
  • Understanding of ML implementation platforms.
  • Experience with agile development methods and version control tools such as Azure DevOps pipelines and Git.
  • Enjoy agile teamwork in hybrid working models (on-site and remote).
  • Enthusiasm for process optimization and innovative data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to think beyond own scope and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
