Airbnb is a global hospitality platform that connects travelers with unique accommodations and experiences around the world. The Community Blueprint team under Global Operations aims to improve the quality of the end-to-end customer journey and bridge team silos across product, operations, and policy. This role is instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making, connecting data across product & operations, and enhancing the guest and host experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive forward Community Blueprint team’s data strategy and roadmap.
  • Serve as the liaison between Advanced Analytics and product, platform, and policy organizations.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets using various analytical and statistical methods.
  • Use quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, forecasting, and data presentation to identify trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Data Science, and other teams.
  • Develop and implement advanced forecasting models.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to measure feature impact.
  • Build metrics to monitor product and business performance.
  • Create sophisticated reporting and analytical tools for stakeholders.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Stay current with trends in data analysis techniques.

Requirements

  • Quantitative undergraduate degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or related roles.
  • Expertise in data/statistical analysis, experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and familiarity with LLMs.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with large datasets and SQL.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and investigative mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Agile, growth-minded approach with business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Preferably experienced in technology or fast-paced data-driven environments.

Benefits

  • Base pay range: $208,000 to $260,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
