Senior Network Deployment Engineer, Software Automation - DGX Cloud

This role sits on the intersection of network engineering, software automation, and program/portfolio coordination to enable end-to-end automation solutions that support DGX Cloud. You will work with Technical Project Management, Network Engineering and Software Development teams to provide architectural alignment, resource coordination and portfolio management for large-scale distributed cloud computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide developers across multiple geographies to remove roadblocks, prioritize deliverables, and deliver projects/products on time.
• Review automation designs, highlight recommendations and risks, and ensure functionality aligns with business requirements.
• Work with Cloud Foundation Automation (CFA) and associated teams to right-size resources to deliver features per the product roadmap.
• Provide input on software architectures and standard methodology processes related to design and implementation of new automation.
• Drive data-driven strategies across engineering to ensure cross-functional alignment and provide user input on software/automation design changes.
• Identify problems, drive cross-functional solutions, and sustain relationships with related technical teams and external partners/vendors.
• Apply process control to continuously improve engineering delivery and contribute to overall product operation.
• Develop and support frameworks for definition and alignment of products across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in network engineering, computer science, or software engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on experience in a software development environment with the ability to create scalable design footprints for process automation.
• Experience supporting teams that operate large-scale distributed cloud computing environments.
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundation Automation (CFA) and experience working with cloud automation teams.
• Familiar with Agile software development processes.
• Experience with productivity tools and process automation.
• Strong communication and technical presentation skills; ability to work across multiple time zones.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment and build consensus to make programs successful.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver user/system friendly products independently.

Ways to stand out

• PM certification or formal PM training (strong plus).
• 6+ years programming experience in a modern programming language (desired).

• Base salary ranges (by level):
  • Level 4: 168,000 USD — 264,500 USD
  • Level 5: 200,000 USD — 322,000 USD
• You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
