A Funda QA Engineer helps the team deliver high-quality software continuously. You will work in a multidisciplinary Scrum team (Product Owner, UX Designer, Frontend and Backend Developers) and be part of the QA practice. The role focuses on improving quality across code, sprints and releases, enabling frequent continuous deployments (multiple releases per day).
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough manual and automated testing to identify defects, bugs and issues.
- Design, create and maintain automated tests (end-to-end, integration and unit tests) to streamline the testing process and speed up delivery.
- Use knowledge of the codebase and domain to write meaningful, maintainable tests and test automation.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and stakeholders; promote a whole-team approach to quality and share testing knowledge across the team.
- Contribute to the team’s continuous delivery practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Agile testing within a Scrum environment.
- Experience with test automation and programming (examples listed: C#, Nuxt, Flutter).
- Experience with a unit testing framework (preferably xUnit) and creating integration tests in .NET Core.
- Practical experience with Playwright for browser automation (Funda has migrated from Selenium to Playwright).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
- Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery strategies and tooling.
- A bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant field.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Currently living in the Netherlands (required).
