We're seeking a talented backend software engineer with STRONG data skills to join our Ads Conversion Signals team, a group of innovative and collaborative engineers dedicated to growing the quantity and quality of off-platform conversion signals while prioritizing user privacy. As a key player on our team, you'll have the opportunity to use your data skills to guide the team’s future direction such as the evolution of key products such as Signals Quality and Signals Anomaly Detection. The ideal candidate would also get involved in helping us evolve our data pipeline to the next level or the flexibility of working on other types of projects that would improve advertiser setup.

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify opportunities based on our data and drive the evolution of our products that would help improve the quality of our conversion data.
  • Lead the development of advertiser-facing products along with a group of frontend and backend engineers that would improve both the quality as well as quantity of our conversions data using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Be a thought partner of your leadership as well as XFNs while contributing towards the development of key projects such as signals quality and signals anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including product managers, data scientists, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our stakeholders' needs.
  • Take ownership of your work, from concept to delivery, and ensure that your solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Continuously learn and grow with our team, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science).
  • 5+ years of full-time backend and data focused software engineering experience in a highly scalable computing environment.
  • Prior experience in the Ads Conversion Signals space, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these areas as well as its downstream impact.
  • Experience working with data is a MUST, including but not limited to the ability to independently perform data analysis, building scoring models, as well as understanding how conversion signals data quality impacts other downstream systems.
  • Experience in software development, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies that you lacked prior experience with.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., other frontend/backend engineers, data scientists, product managers, etc.).
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our users' needs, while prioritizing their privacy and security.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • A passion for mentorship and knowledge-sharing, with a desire to help others grow and develop in their careers.

Pay Transparency

This job posting may span more than one career level. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. The base pay range for this position is: $190,800 - $267,100 USD.
