NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the NVLINK NOS group, developing the NVLINK switch Operating System (OS). In this role you will play a major part in developing our OS which is critical to NVIDIA's next-generation networking technologies and enables large-scale deployment in High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Use expertise in Python and C++ to develop NVOS features following an Agile methodology.
  • Own and lead the development of major features end-to-end through their entire life cycle.
  • Be actively hands-on in OS software coding and debugging.
  • Support customer integration with NVLINK technology.
  • Collaborate with off-shore teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of overall technical or industry experience.
  • Proficient in Python and C++ programming.
  • Solid understanding of the Linux environment.
  • Able to self-teach and learn quickly.
  • Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred / Ways to stand out

  • Experience with Sonic OS.
  • Networking experience.
  • Experience working with customers.
  • Excellent social and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range (Level 3): 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD.
  • Base salary range (Level 4): 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD.
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
