We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join NVIDIA's Tegra Solution Engineering team and work on a key Automotive project. In this role you will lead the software support team, guide program direction, coordinate with internal teams, and track and manage program objectives. The work involves close collaboration with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers and focuses on delivering software releases and customer-facing program outcomes.
NVIDIA empowers automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups to develop and deploy AI systems for self-driving vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Act as the software leader for a customer program: interface with key OEMs/Tier 1s on all software aspects related to a program — track requirements, releases, and issues; coordinate technical workshops (including board bringup); and handle critical issues.
- Ensure customer experience with the program team adds value to the relationship with NVIDIA.
- Work internally with functional teams to run software releases in support of customer requirements: define releases, drive features and bug fixes, testing, and documentation.
- Be responsible for successful delivery of the program while working as a team with a dedicated Program Architect who assists with technical aspects.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years recent program/project management experience driving planning and execution of software engineering projects and releasing commercial products.
- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
- Experience working with multi cross-region engineering teams.
- Experience handling successful releases with short release cadence in a multi-layered environment.
- Proven record of leading and successfully delivering scalable programs and projects while driving process improvements.
- Ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in scalable organizations.
- Strong project management background with superior organization skills.
Ways to stand out
- Previous experience with embedded/automotive system integration.
- Expertise in ASPICE and ISE 26262 safety standards.
- Background with data-driven operations and defining/managing operational metrics; understanding what makes a good/bad metric and how to drive an organization using those metrics.
- Experience leading global projects efficiently across time zones.
- Agile certification/training is a plus; project management certification/training desired.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and comparable pay):
- Level 5: 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD
- Level 6: 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD
