We are currently looking for an Automation tester within Area Data. Models, Analytics & Calculations within the Housing tribe.

We are very curious about what you can bring to our team Datawizards at the Area Data Models Analytics & Calculations of Tribe Housing in the role of Automation Tester!
- Area Data. Models, Analytics & Calculations within the Housing tribe is responsible for the data logistic chain within the lending domain, models, analytics and complex calculations.
- Datawizards squad purpose is to facilitate seamless access to mortgage-related data within the bank by serving as the single-point-of-contact for taking in external data and deliver structural data requests to external stakeholders (f.e. BKR, KCAF and NHG).
- We standardize and manage the Tribe Housing GDAP data library, providing robust support and develop Information Factories and building pipelines based on GDAP data streams.
As an Automation Tester you will be also be challenging and advising the team what is needed to develop Team maturity in Quality aspects; that is what it is about.
Together you create high-value products working in Agile/Scrum concepts. As an Automation Tester you ensure that no bugs or defects stand in Sprint goal delivery.
You will be highlighting quality risks. Your role is important because you contribute to achieving the area and tribe ambitious objectives.
With the other Testers you also ensure a clear Test strategy within the department by being part of Test Guild.
In addition, you are a pro-active team player who immediately sees what quality aspects you need to work on. You regularly coordinate the relevant back log and priorities with stakeholders within and outside the team.
In addition, your focus is on initiating and participating in a continuous improvement process. You also support the team being In Control.
You are self-aware, you know your unique qualities and you know how to use them as effectively as possible. You should be able to T-shape within the team as per the requirement or when time allows.
Responsibilities:
We take our teams to the next level and are looking for someone who can embark on this journey with us. This means you:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for ETL processes in ADF and Databricks.
- Build and maintain the automated test framework for ETL processes.
- Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Collaborate with developers to understand ETL requirements and workflows.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure data accuracy.
- Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
- Document and report test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the team
You and your talent:
- Educated at University level, finished bachelor’s in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an ETL Automation Tester
- At least an Azure certificate like Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
- Certified with ISTQB and/or CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing).
- Knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure.
- Proven experience in ETL testing, with a focus on ADF and Databricks.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for test automation.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Good to have understanding of different file formats like XML, JSON, YAML etc
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You have experience in working with multicultural teams
