NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect in Data Center Infrastructure to join their Infrastructure Specialists team. The role focuses on the planning, deployment, and validation of AI data center infrastructure, including power/cooling systems, cabling, and network provisioning, ensuring alignment with NVIDIA reference architectures and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to plan and implement data center infrastructure solutions following NVIDIA Datacenter reference architecture.
- Manage deployment of rack-scale, liquid cooled compute and networking hardware systems.
- Conduct pre-deployment planning, including cluster and data center architecture review, network port mapping, fiber optic cabling BOM, risk identification, vendor training.
- Evaluate infrastructure design proposals for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of compute systems with product and engineering teams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance within the NVIS team.
- Ensure quality assurance processes and conduct thorough testing and validation of infrastructure.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data center efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
- Collaborate across teams, vendors, and customers to integrate infrastructure solutions and act as domain expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years experience in enterprise/hyperscale data centers with infrastructure deployment experience, preferably for AI/HPC data centers.
- Experience in data center operations or infrastructure management roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of data center stack: power distribution, liquid cooling, servers, networking, storage, and pre-deployment planning.
- Relevant certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated technical and project leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
