Responsibilities

  • Contribute to MetaMask's user experiences, including home screens, settings, feature screens, and enhancements
  • Unify and transform experiences across Portfolio dApp, Browser Extension, and Mobile platforms
  • Coordinate and communicate with other experience teams to complete complex projects
  • Mentor junior team members to elevate engineering quality

Requirements

  • 5+ years working with web and mobile-based technologies
  • Hands-on experience with React and React Native
  • Extensive experience with modern JavaScript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of cross platform/browser compatibility
  • Experience working in agile development teams
  • Experience developing medium to large-scale applications across the stack, focusing on minimal tech debt, testing, linting, and standards
  • Experience consuming APIs
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration
  • Strong understanding of web-based security threats and prevention

Bonus Points

  • Working knowledge of ERC20 and SPL20 token standards
  • Passion for and knowledge of blockchain technologies
  • Understanding of cyber-cryptography
  • Experience in decentralized distributed teams
