At ABN AMRO Clearing, we play a crucial role in the financial markets by acting as an intermediary between buyers and sellers in financial transactions. Our primary function is to ensure the smooth and efficient settlement of trades, which involves the transfer of securities and funds between parties. We provide a range of services, including trade validation, risk management, and the final settlement of transactions.
Responsibilities
As a strategic process enabler in the CTO Office, you will:
- Support the Platform Grid by working with platform grid Product Owners, senior management, and stakeholders to provide guidance and support in decision-making.
- Drive the strategic agenda by providing transparent reporting, driving change, and ensuring delivery of strategic key results.
- Assist in strategic planning by helping develop and execute strategic roadmaps aligned with the organization's long-term vision.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across product and platform grids, teams, and clusters to ensure seamless integration and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor and report on platform initiative performance, identify and mitigate risks, and provide opportunities for improvement.
- Host project meetings, daily stand-ups, and manage deadlines, ensuring timeliness and follow-up with team members and vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
Requirements
You should be comfortable driving medium to large change and strategic IT infrastructure initiatives involving diverse stakeholders. You must navigate Security, Risk, Regulation, and Senior Management requirements to ensure delivery targets are met, issues resolved, and initiatives completed.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Experience: At least 5 years in project management with a strong track record in strategic delivery, preferably in technology or financial services.
- Skills:
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Analytical Skills: Assess complex situations and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence and engage all levels.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally across timezones and cultures.
- Project Management: Experience managing large-scale projects using agile methodologies.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications (€5,112 - €7,303 per month).
