NVIDIA is seeking a forward-thinking leader to spearhead initiatives in the transformative field of accelerated computing, revolutionizing data science and data engineering. The accelerated data science platform includes high-performance libraries such as the open source RAPIDS libraries, AI data platforms like NeMo Curator and Morpheus, and data processing engines accelerating Apache Spark, Velox, and vector search.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of 100+ engineers, data scientists, and managers
  • Collaborate with the open source community and other data platforms to accelerate data work with NVIDIA libraries
  • Expand efforts to bridge traditional data processing with emerging AI workloads
  • Drive engineering and architectural excellence
  • Partner closely with product management to ensure enterprise readiness and support

Requirements

  • MS, PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
  • 10+ years leading/managing software development teams in agile environments, working with performance-sensitive or real-time customer-facing software products
  • 20+ years in software design, including debugging, performance analysis, and testing
  • Executive experience collaborating with ISVs and platforms
  • High proficiency in data, cloud, data science, accelerated compute (Spark, Kubernetes, Dask, Python ecosystem, CUDA)
  • Experience developing platforms or tools for developers
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams and develop leaders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep understanding of building successful products at large scale

  • Experience working with and fostering open source communities
  • Knowledge of CUDA or other parallel programming systems
  • Strong understanding of high-performance microservices architectures
  • Expertise in deep learning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), modern text search, embeddings, or similar AI technologies
