Consensys is a leading blockchain and web3 software company building products such as MetaMask, Infura, Linea, Diligence and Phosphor. The Customer Success / Builder Engagement teams enable relationships and technical integrations with Consensys’ most strategic builders, customers and partners to maximize product reach, adoption and long-term engagement.

This role sits on the Builder Engagement / Customer Success side and combines hands-on development with technical leadership and customer-facing work. The team is remote-first with members across regions and focuses on resilient web3 integrations and decentralized applications (Ðapps).

US pay range (not including bonus, equity or other benefits): $156,000β€”$187,000 USD

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary technical interface for top partner accounts alongside Product and Business Development teams, ensuring successful product adoption and retention.
  • Define technical approach for one or multiple projects and be responsible for technical deliverables of your team under guidance of a Solution Architect.
  • Lead and deliver resilient and durable integrations with builders and partners across the ecosystem.
  • Work hands-on in small Agile teams to deliver missing pieces that enhance developer experience and integrations.
  • Enforce best practices, coach and train team members; contribute as a trusted expert on one or more Consensys products.
  • Engage with customers at technical and non-technical levels in a client-facing environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • 2+ years as a tech lead, leading a team of Senior Software Engineers.
  • Mastery of one of the following disciplines:
    • Back-end development: Typescript / Node.js (preference for Nest.js framework)
    • Mobile development: Typescript with React-Native and React.js
  • Experience and/or willingness to learn the other listed disciplines (backend, mobile, Solidity, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Blockchain technology and the Ethereum ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience in Web3 application development.
  • Experience with software projects that are live or in production.
  • High testing standards: rigorous unit testing, integration testing and component testing where appropriate.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience working on agile software development projects.
  • Experience working in client-facing environments and engaging with customers.

Bonus / Nice-to-have

  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related subject.
  • Interest in QA / knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience deploying blockchain infrastructure.
  • Smart contract development skills: Solidity / Ethereum and libraries such as Wagmi, Viem or Ethers.js.
  • Knowledge or experience of trading platforms and banking/investment industry.
  • Familiarity or user interest in Consensys products (MetaMask, Linea).
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Interest or experience in DevOps topics, Docker and/or Kubernetes.
