Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality products
- Apply Agile principles effectively in day-to-day activities
- Write manual and automated tests to conduct complex functional and integration tests to confirm acceptance criteria have been met
- Advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team
- Support, maintain, and improve all related test cases
- Contribute to identifying testing strategies and driving their implementation together with the QA Guild
- Perform functional testing in web applications and/or back-end systems (depends on project)
- Ensure that the product is at a high-quality level for deployment
- Report software defects and work across multiple development teams to resolve them
- Train and mentor less senior team members
- Participate in decisions regarding automation and propose improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance (frontend, backend, web applications testing)
- Experience with Postman and Playwright
- Experience with test automation using JavaScript/TypeScript based frameworks
- Experience in test case design and management
- Familiarity with management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Understanding of complex technical systems and architectures
- Experience with Agile/Kanban (or similar) methodologies and collaboration within dev teams
Bonus / Nice to have
- Familiarity with microservice-based architectures
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience with GitLab and Jenkins
- Experience with Jest and Axios
- Experience using Node.js
- Experience with Docker, BrowserStack (and BrowserStack Connect)
- Familiarity with Figma
Compensation & Logistics
- Gross salary: 14,500 - 26,800 PLN per month (gross)
