Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source company that builds observability tooling used globally. The Business Applications (BizApps) team works with Cloud, Enterprise, and Grafana teams to provide the best possible experience for customers and efficient workflows for staff. The team builds on the grafana.com platform, integrating with many external systems and owning critical domain areas such as billing, provisioning, cloud provider marketplace integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP), and the customer user portal.

Responsibilities

• Influence roadmap and own career objectives.
• Drive projects from ideation through production and operations.
• Embrace open-source culture and contribute to related projects.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems with ownership of reliability, performance, and availability.
• Continuously improve existing code, tackle technical debt, improve CI/CD pipelines, and increase test coverage.
• Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of services in production.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders asynchronously (Slack, Google Docs) and via meetings.
• Work effectively in a remote-first environment and communicate clearly across distributed teams.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a remote-first company and collaborating in an agile setup.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek help.
• Passion for user experience and product quality.
• Interests in full-stack development and working in DevOps environments; operate with a "you build it, you own it" mindset.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, React, Go, or similar technologies.
• Experience or familiarity with CI/CD improvements, increasing test coverage, and running services in production (on-call experience).
• Familiarity with integrating systems with cloud provider marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) is relevant to the team's domains.

Compensation

• In Canada, the compensation range for this role is 153,729 CAD - 184,475 CAD.
• Roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) as part of total compensation.
