The Business Applications (BizApps) team builds on the grafana.com platform to provide custom solutions and integrations with external systems that power modern business workflows. Key domain areas include the billing engine (usage calculation), provisioning automation for new customers, integrations with cloud provider marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP), and the user portal used by customers to manage accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Influence the team roadmap and own personal career objectives.
  • Drive projects from ideation through to operation and stakeholder handoff.
  • Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning reliability, performance, and availability.
  • Reduce technical debt, improve CI/CD pipelines, and increase test coverage.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of running services.
  • Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders asynchronously (Slack, Google Docs) and via meetings.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a remote-first company with strong communication skills.

  • Experience or willingness to work on billing systems, provisioning automation, cloud marketplace integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP), and customer-facing portals.
  • Willingness to be part of on-call rotations and to improve CI/CD and testing practices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • US compensation range for this role: $148,505 - $178,206 (actual compensation varies by level, experience, and skills).
  • All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
