Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse with more than 20M users of Grafana globally. The Business Applications team builds on the grafana.com platform to provide custom solutions and integrate with many external systems used in modern business environments. This team is responsible for critical domain areas such as the billing engine, automated provisioning, integrations with cloud provider marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP), and the customer user portal. The role is remote and Grafana Labs is interested in applications from EST in the USA.

Responsibilities

  • Influence roadmap and set your own career objectives.
  • Drive projects from ideation through to operations and stakeholder handoff.
  • Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate across teams.
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems; own reliability, performance, and availability.
  • Improve existing code, reduce technical debt, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and increase test coverage.
  • Participate in team on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you run.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders asynchronously (Slack, Google Docs) and in meetings.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a remote-first company and strong communication skills.
  • Experience working in collaborative, agile teams; ability to work independently and ask for help when needed.
  • Interest in full-stack development and working in DevOps environments; operate in a "you build it, you own it" mindset.
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Go, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and improving operational reliability.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and support production services.

Compensation & Rewards

  • US compensation range: $148,505 - $178,206 (actual compensation may vary by level, experience, and skillset).
  • All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
  • Compensation ranges are country specific; other locations will be discussed with the recruiter.
