Details
NVIDIA is looking for a Datacenter Product Architect to help define and design products for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and other datacenter markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive architecture for datacenter systems, considering everything from the chip to the full datacenter.
- Work with counterparts from silicon, software, networking, operations, and other teams to define and build future NVIDIA products.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand customer needs, translate them into design inputs, and align on consistent strategies.
- Analyze the performance, power, and cost of different solutions to understand architectural trade-offs and align design decisions.
- Work across engineering and operations teams to define and implement systems from concept through large production deployments.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of experience working on datacenter systems.
- Deep understanding of hardware architecture and server design, including mechanical, power, and thermal considerations, as well as the interaction between server architecture and at-scale datacenter deployment.
- Hands-on experience with challenging problems spanning software and hardware.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven record of leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A master's degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large projects involving the co-development of custom processors or accelerators, systems, and software.
- Familiarity with GPU compute and NVIDIA networking.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations processes.
- Experience with cloud server deployments and operations.
- Passion for technology and the work.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is USD 168,000–258,750 for Level 4 and USD 200,000–322,000 for Level 5. Salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The role also includes eligibility for equity and benefits.
