NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Chip Software Project Management leader to help define, build, and execute a chip through the entire silicon life cycle for use in automotive, data center, embedded, and mobile products.

NVIDIA pioneered visual computing with the invention of the GPU and continues to build platforms and solutions for data centers, robotics, and autonomous machines. This role will coordinate and execute software activities for next-generation SoC chip software development within a high-performance Software organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement all aspects of software planning and completion for SoC chips, including the software plan of record, pre-silicon development, pre-silicon software validation, bring-up, and productization.
  • Develop and expand comprehensive workflows for SoC partner validation programs, including engagement, qualification, onboarding, test execution, and result publication across multiple partners simultaneously.
  • Build and expand strategic connections with partners, act as the main program contact, and identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency across companies.
  • Drive the simulation and emulation plan of record, planning, and schedule in collaboration with Simulation and Emulation teams.
  • Ensure teams provide all required collateral for the Software Product Life Cycle development process.
  • Drive teams to develop software compliant with applicable safety standards.
  • Schedule and lead status meetings and communicate progress and status across software teams in multiple geographic locations.
  • Partner with platform teams to define, prioritize, and execute bring-up of custom requirements.
  • Act as the primary interface to Automotive, Data Center, Embedded, and Mobile software groups for chip-related issues and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of overall experience in related areas, including at least 4 years of management experience.
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Proven software technical project management experience in a matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, including CPUs, memory, buses and interconnects, operating systems, and device drivers.
  • Experience managing programs spanning external partner engagement and internal engineering delivery simultaneously, from onboarding through joint go-to-market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record leading software development for automotive, data center, and mobile SoCs.
  • Experience building or growing partner lab environments, including security, compliance, and legal-readiness frameworks.
  • Knowledge of pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up of complex SoCs.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards such as ISO 26262 and experience delivering safety-compliant software.
  • Experience designing and developing kernels, system software, or drivers.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $184,000–$287,500 for Level 2.
  • Base salary range: $224,000–$356,500 for Level 3.
  • Base salary is determined by location, experience, and compensation of employees in similar positions.
  • Eligible for equity and benefits.
