The NVIDIA Ignite application is open from October 5, 2026, through October 18, 2026.
The NVIDIA Ignite program is an inclusive, 12-week summer pre-internship program for current first- and second-year undergraduate students from a variety of backgrounds. Participants work hands-on with technical experts on real projects and gain experience with NVIDIA's products, culture, and ecosystem.
The 12-week Ignite Internship is located on-site in Santa Clara, California. NVIDIA will cover a one-time round-trip travel expense for students traveling more than 50 miles to Santa Clara and provide a supplemental housing stipend to assist with summer living expenses.

Requirements
- Be a first-year student in the class of 2030 or a second-year student in the class of 2029.
- Be pursuing a bachelor's degree at a four-year university in the United States in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Clearly indicate the anticipated graduation month and year on the resume.
- Demonstrate passion through relevant clubs, leadership roles, extracurricular projects, or similar activities.
- Be enrolled in computing and engineering courses focused on software fundamentals.
- Have basic knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Perl, or MATLAB.
- Demonstrate creativity, problem-solving ability, willingness to develop new skills, and adaptability.
- Show a desire to learn new concepts and tools in a growing and evolving work environment.
Ways to Stand Out
- Seeking a first relevant industry or corporate internship experience.
- Demonstrated initiative to learn about technology, computers, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or parallel computing.
- Understanding of VLSI design or computer architecture.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, PyTorch, or other frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly rate for interns is USD 20–56, based on the position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. Interns are also eligible for intern benefits.
