Details
NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Senior GPU PCIe and Boot Architect to design the architecture and infrastructure for boot, PCIe/CXL enumeration, and capability discovery. This role supports product lines ranging from consumer graphics and self-driving cars to artificial intelligence. The architecture team works globally to define platforms for the future of computing.
Responsibilities
- Understand how GPU subsystem modules interoperate and interact with the overall system.
- Architect and plan features in collaboration with software, hardware, and verification teams across the globe to implement the next generation of GPUs.
- Create functional and performance models, often in C++, along with test plans to validate designed features.
- Support post-silicon validation activities.
- Continue learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer architecture, computer science, electrical engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience writing production code in C or C++.
- Coursework or industry experience in computer architecture, operating systems, and/or system architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of advanced interconnects such as PCIe, AXI, or NVLink.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl.
- Understanding of modern security constructs and/or encryption.
- Knowledge of RISC-V architecture and microcode development.
